One of the joys of having a new camera, is figuring out the bits you like best about it. In my case, having ISO from 50 - 25,600 is quite a big boost from the old world 100 - 6,400.
OK, so the 25,600 is not really usable. It's FULL of noise, but, I thought it would be quite fun to see how the pinhole would work with the ISO pumped up to the max. This is what I got. This is a little bit cropped from the original. I didn't use a tripod, but I did balance the camera on the edge of the railing. Hmm, in retrospect that may have been a bit risky.
I have to say, I quite like the effect the high ISO has created. |
