 Thought of this idea relatively early in the challenge, but I waited until the last day to shoot. For those that don't know, Ace of Spades is a song/album by the rock band Motörhead.

I wanted to take the idea of a card in the guitar (luckily my wife hasn't sold her guitar yet) and make it looks like it could be up on stage. Therefore, the lighting on this included one flash from camera right, with a honeycomb attached to concentrate the light. Another flash was setup behind the scene, about 3 meters away from the guitar, and pointing at the flash. On this flash was a home made snoot, and a primary blue gel. Took a bit to make sure I had the angle right such that the light was filtering in from more or less a point, but also it looks a bit like there is some fog.

Post processing;
* White balance
* Increase definition of card and guitar head
* Increase saturation and vibrancy
* Slight adjustments in Topaz Adjust 5
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG

I'd say "Lemmy would be proud", but I can't since i don't know him or if he would indeed be proud.
I hope you'll settle for "I'm proud to see a Motorhead reference and a consolation 6". :)
I would've given higher if the DoF wasn't as shallow - maybe bump up your focal length a stop or two to keep a little bit more of the guitar head in focus.

Good one - clever use of guitar and Ace of Spades - fifth or sixth album? Can't remember. Anyway, I like the concept - nice although I wonder how many will get it. Side note: I bought a Squire Strat for my granddaughter and ended up modifying it with parts from a '69 Strat basket case I had hanging around. Came out nice and sounds like an early era Strat.
