Hello Eric, greetings from the Critique Club. Your photo was assigned to me, so here it goes:
Composition: Great! I like the angle you used. The shape of the building is very interesting and a nice subject to photograph. I'm not sure about the bushes on the left and right side. I loaded your photo to an image editor and cut it to a portrait format with just the palm and the building. I'm unsure if that really makes the photo better, but it's different. A bit cleaner. Almost looks like a "classic" Egyptian postcard shot then.
Lighting: Very rich in contrast. The reflections on the building are nice. I also like the blue colour but I think black&white would work even better here.
Focus: I think the focus is sufficient.
Art: It's a nice photo. It meets the challenge but in a different way than I would like to see in such a challenge. Photos of famous places you travel to do not so much convey this topic as the way other people did it by capturing the actual journey or "motion" of travelling. However, that's just my opinion and it doesn't take anything away from being a good photo.

Could just be me or the design of the pyramid but it looks out of focus, everything except the trees. This is how it appears to me. PTL 3 |

I stayed behind one of the speakers for the 3-D Imax. Never again. |

Interesting motive. The picture is too static though and the blue colour is a bit overbearing. |

Really nice surrealistic feel. I like the bluish tone. |
