Post challenge:
Thanks for the votes and comments everyone. I'm happy this ended up where it did.
There was a very different voting trend in this one (for me anyway.) At 35 votes, this was 5.85 but from then it rose steadily. 30 hours before the challenge ended, it peaked at 6.93 but had the usual final day decline.
This is the Byodo-In Temple, located on the windward side of Oahu. Like Alan said, this temple was where the wedding scene for Jin and Sun on the series "Lost" was filmed. It is a very popular tourist destination so catching this place when it's uncrowded can be difficult. I got here right as they opened and took a few shots, within 15 minutes, there were too many people. If you're ever here on Oahu, I recommend paying this beautiful place a visit.

This was the best shot in the contest, only problem is it doesn't really meet the challenge. I have this rule, is the shot framable? This one is the most framable of them all, 2/3 winners I wouldn't even keep in my electronic library, let along frame. Nice work.
Cool that you were able to get it without people in it! When I was there, that wasn't a possibility. I still envision Jin & Sun's wedding (Lost) when I see this place :)
Probably my favorite image in this challenge. Great image, great sense of movement in the clouds with a steadfast temple - like time goes on around it while it stands timeless.
