Thanks amzelda, if I was going for pop, I would would probably take your comments to heart.Pop was the last thing wanted, thus I really tried to get the black blending into black, as this makes me happy. I don't really care about doing a stock footage product shoot.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I used a penlight in total darkness shot with a 30sec. exposure to light my photo. First time trying this method. I don't understand my 1's and 2's, but then who am I?

| This was an imaginative play on the composition, but the boots blend into the black background taking away some of the pop. I think another colored background would've improved it. |
