It's a beauty. I agree this is a Red-bellied WP, Melanerpes carolinas. Not the "Northern" subspecies. Looks to be "South Florida". Can't see enough to tell male or female. Great job. |

This would be a Red Bellied woodpecker.Compare it to the one you have of the Male Downy on the feeder. |
