 Ha! Just noticed after entering that my son's t-shirt say Monkey. No, he's not really a latchkey kid - he is only 5 after all.

I had a different idea for a Latchkey Kid with my older daughter and props but, as usual, I didn’t get around to doing it so I wasn’t going to enter the challenge. I decided to challenge myself and see what I could shoot, process and submit in under half an hour. I’ve done this a few times in the past, such as work quickly with what I’ve got or take only one shot and process it the best I can, which I find fun. Results are usually not that good but it’s fun.

Fist I tried to play with light and visual tricks with a single key and then decided to grab my son for Latchkey Kid idea. A total of four shots where taken, down-loaded process and entered in 25 mins. I was happy with the results of both. Here’s the other shot.

Love the idea. There are so many latchkey children in this world nowadays. Great title and angle. Like the noise/grain in the shot as well.
