 I used a remote flash with a 43 inch umbrella for the main lighting. A second flash was used almost perpendicular to the camera view to light up the smoke. Flags were used to ensure that the second flash did not light up the scene or background.

I wish I could have found some older looking glasses. That would have added a lot to the picture.

After the challenge started, I tried some different post processing. I wish I entered the new one.

Great idea putting out the candle in the shot, coupled with the title, this works well!

Don't know what those 2 stripes in the background are, but I find them distracting. Other than that a really nice image. Like the composition, the colours, the whole idea.
