 Not necessarily my true drug, but lately I have been fairly addicted to this soda. They sell it at work for $1 per bottle, and I have a hard time not getting one for lunch. Sometimes I may the 15 minute stroll jut for a soda! And I don't even drink soda often (expect for this stuff).

The Ginger Ale is especially good. One of the better ginger ales I have had, with a full taste and it goes down easy. This is my flavor of choice 95% of the time.

I took a number of different shots and angles. Originally I intended to have a top down effect, but the dark color of everything but the orange was making this less than interesting. So instead I went with this front on view, with a bit of depth to it. My intention with this shot was to process it with a nearly square crop and somewhat of a vintage feeling.

The lighting for this was one flash behind the setup, gelled with a blue gel. The front was lit with an un-gelled flash shot through an umbrella. The long exposure (half second) allowed the room lights to open up the shadows.

My guess is that this will end up near the middle of the pack, maybe high 5's due to the technical aspect well done. It doesn't tell a good story, so that will hurt this photo.

Post Processing:
* Crop
* White balance
* Increase saturation with lower vibrancy
* Topaz Adjust 5
* Increase brightness
* Increase saturation with higher vibrancy
* S-curve with higher highlights
* Desaturate blue in the bottles to make them look more clear
* Blur some of the hexagonal bokeh caused by the 50mm
* Tine background green because it looks nicer than blue for this
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG
