 Extreme focus / with and without glasses.

The glasses were placed just inside of the minimum focusing distance and about 4 metres away I placed some christmas tree lights on the wall.

With the focus so close everything that was even a short distance away was able to be blown out. The focal length was 165mm which also helped to increase the bokeh ball size.

Editing was fairly basic - used a low temp and colour alteration to bring out the blue-purple-pink hues and that's about it.

I had this slated for a ribbon. I think if you hadn't had the glasses on the edge of your frame it might have done better. As is, the viewer might get a nice sense of wearing the glasses pictured, but only a minority have had that experience, and the majority see a truncated element, and interruption of the chief subject.
