 Very finicky shot to get right. Need the shutter slow enough to show motion, but I need to be steady enough to keep subject focused. Normally don't like these dramatic HDR effects (that was used), but liked it on this one.

Obviously I'm disappointed in the results for this image. Technically, this was a very difficult shot to capture like this when you realize he was only traveling about 10 mph. Not difficult to get the back ground to blur when panning, but very difficult to keep the object of the photo in focus with a shutter speed of only 1/25 second. I guess when people look at the capture its easy to not realize that fact. This will indeed go down as one of my all time favorite shots because I'm fairly sure I couldn't reproduce it.

Great shot, I can see why your disappointed it didn't rate higher, these photos are hard to get right you are 100% correct. I think maybe people felt it wasn't really fitting in the challenge.

Still well done, and love the PP.

Thanks, much appreciated. Yea, the voting is hard if not impossible to understand sometimes. I find that I enjoy it more when I don't worry about that, do the best I can and try and support the other struggling artists, like you just did:)

I find that now that voting is only available to full members, the results don't seem the be as accurate as they used to...
This should have been top 20 as far as I'm concerned... which means, 30 pictures have scored higher and shouldn't have.
A shame :(
