 Another photo from my trip to the Chequamagon National Forest. Four sandhill cranes had a nest in this area and were cheesed off by our invasion of their turf. When we approached, the four of them took off and circled us three or four times, squawking like crazy, and then disappeared until we left.

You captured these birds incredibly sharp. Great shot. It might be fun to clone out the trees and see what it looks like with the negative space.
