 I'm glad this challenge came up. Although the landscapes this time of year are filled with brown ground and leafless trees, the urban aspect allows for them to have some added interest.

I took shots on two morning for this challenge, and came away with a handful of keepers. I processed them, and showed them to my wife. After she looked at them a couple times, ended up saying she liked this shot the best. I too really like this one, my main hesitation is if this will be "urban" enough.

The water you see in the foreground is Wingra Creek, and in the background is Lake Monona. The houses on the left occupy a small part of land, and on the right is Olin Turville Park.

Probably not urban enough for some, but cities differ - and can still be "cities". I love the "border" of water... Really a lovely photograph. Peaceful but full of implied life.
