I will get killed because this is neither abstract, nor a macro. and the focus is front to back.
predict 4.8.

Obviously a reference to German film director Leni Riefenstahl's WWII era Progpoganda film "Triumph of the Will." There is a scene where an airplane casts a cruciform shadow over clouds and the city below.

Also obviously, being a near macro and such, the paper clips cast only tiny shadows. (But as much as can be)this is modern global corporate propaganda leading to a worldwide takeover of our political, and social existences, under the guise of cubicle lifestyles and consumerism based advertising.(all set as an allusion to the rise of the Third Reich in the 1930's.)

and you thought this was just a dnmc poorly focused shot of paperclips!

Love the composition here. So simple yet interestings. Not a fan of the distracting border.

I like the OOF foreground. Usually, that doesn't work too terribly well, but here it does. I would have liked to had seen the right paperclip a little more in focus, to balance out the two back paperclips. But overall, it is a nice shot.
