Cool shot. I like the water drops on the feathers. Nice light. It's a bit too bright in the middle of the feathers... but overall, a very nice shot.

I like the subject, composition and the water beads on the wing. The crop looks OK too, I think it needed a little more light on the birds eye.

Great capture, I like the unusual position of the duck, but your metering is a little off. It's a shame the eye is so shadowed as that is naturally where your attention is drawn to most wildlife shots and speaking to this photograph specifically, the composition leads your eye there first. I can understand it's a tricky shot to meter as you have absolute blacks and almost absolute whites, however the bill or the lighter parts of the water would have been a good place to spot meter and then focus back on the eye. Tricky to do as quick as would have been needed to shoot a live animal though!
