Haha! Zig & Henry are both heroes of mine but I don't agree about the vignette. I can't agree, actually, because look at the monster vignettes I use; I put 'em on with an industrial roller! You're nearly subtle by comparison.
The weird thing I have found about vignettes is that they have to be either so light as to be almost undetectable or so heavy as to be unavoidable. Like moms smacking naughty kids (when that was acceptable at all) ... a light slap on the hand was enough to make a point, an almighty belting on the ass was just impossible to argue with, but anything in between was just an exercise in feeble self-indulgence on the part of the parent, and had no lasting effect.

I like the scene a lot, the only drawback for me is that the vignette is a bit too obvious, especially in the top part of the photo. |
