I am a skydiver and do some video and still pictures with a Digital Rebel. I am off on knee surgury, and have been getting into taking pictures of Sunsets, the moon, Lightning, fireworks, and the occasional macro attempt. The problem is that the stock 18-55 does not zoom in enough to tighten in on the area i want such as the sun, the area of the sky the lightning is in, or fireworks that are 300 or so yards away. I use a tripod so size or weight is no matter. My budget is around $250-300. Thanks ahead of time. Blue skys Chad |
