I would like to apologize for some erroneous comments I have left this week... it seems I have left several comments reguarding pictures that did not "capture the impact of a moment" as stated in the challenge... I have re-read the challenege and it doesn't say anything about impact of the moment, rather it says, "worthy of the front page"... I think the impact of the moment came from here in the forums?? anyway, my apologies as I realize that a quote from the challenge that is a
non-existant quote could be potentially irritating to someone reading a comment on their photo... I will try and re-evaluate the photos that got these comments from me, but it will take some doing to find them all as I have tried to leave more comments this week than any previous week...

I also owe an apology for my comments about the "Flags raised in honor of our fallen heroes". My remarks were more from misunderstanding and my bad day, plus my patriotism, and 2 sons in service. I didn't really look at the picture for what it is and spouted off. For this I apologize. I have gone back and corrected my remarks to fit the photograph for what it is. Sometimes I have a bad day but that is never an excuse for scoring someone lower than they deserve and making bad comment. Again I apologize.

PTL, I am always impressed by people who are willing to admit their errors. Kudos to you! Actually you're a good example to the rest of us, and I hope it catches on. I'm not alluding to anyone, just a very general statement I'm making. :-)
