Go ahead and shoot anything you want. The challenge topic will be revealed when voting starts.

Would be a fun looking through all the shots to see how well they fit the newly revealed challenge! Would be a new way of looking at how photos fit into many molds without intending to. Some would be dead on, some would be completely off, but others would stretch the viewers/owners vision as to how their shots can't necessarily be shoved into one catagory.

Just something to lighten the mood a bit.

That's a HELL of an idea! Got my vote, LOL. And the winner is... a SUNSET!

I like the idea, for just a "one time" challenge, this could be really fun.

Already should be in the queue, it was suggested here

I think it would also be fun to have a challenge where there are no titles on the photos. The challenge would be described as usual, details, etc....just no titles.

This would force the image to do the "talking" instead of relying on the title as so many do.

Must have seen it and was rattling around in my sub-conscious.

Bring it on!

I did this for the Leading Lines II challenge. I was in Kentucky, and ways from the computer for a week. Shot lots of family, places, and nature. Looked at weeks challenge when I got back and the only one that I liked that I thought fit was this one.

Revealed challenge topic...
Squid: Grilled, fried or swimming undersea... take your best shot of this bizarre ocean dweller.

I wonder if the Blue Ribbon would score above 4? ;-)

Nah, it'll probably be something like the 4/1 challenge.

Challenge revealed:
Rubber Ducky II: Take a picture of a rubber ducky. You must used exactly 1 light source, and this light source must be of any color other than white or yellow. The background must be a polka dot pattern, printed onto an 8"x11.5" white piece of paper using a black and white inkjet printer that is almost out of ink. Also, accompanying the ducky must be exactly 20 half eaten marshmellows with the teeth print in obvious view. Any entry without all of these attributes will be disqualified.

LOL... IF they did that, can you IMAGINE the hue & cry if one of the entries actually happened to MEET the challenge squarely?
