What software do you use to display it on your computer?

Your camera's output is designed to be brighter so you can see it even when you are out doors. Almost all digital photos need to be post processed to add color, contrast, and sharpness.

Your LCD has an adjustment to vary the brightness for different viewing conditions. Typically I adjust mine very bright so its easy to see. The image is actually darker. If you expose your image to look good on this screen it will be dark when you download it. This should easily be correctable in the computer anyway. But if you want a more realistic check of exposure on the LCD, ste its parameters back to zero. I pay NO attention to how the exposure looks on the LCD when I am shooting, I autobracket.

Check to see what colour profile your camera uses.

When the photo is downloaded into PS it may be converting it to another colour profile and loosing its punch.

Easily corrected by setting the default profile to sRGB in PS for web photos or I use Adobe RGB for printing.
