Just got a paypal payment of $688 from Getty images! Quite some time back (At least a year ago)I had received a request through their Flickr program asking me to offer several images for sale through Getty. I completely forgot about it until I just got notified that Getty had put money in my paypal account. I can't find out which image it was, but it can only be one of two, as that is all that is posted for sale.

It'll be interesting to see if I eventually find my photo turning up in an ad somewhere.

WOOT WOOT! Congrats! Money out of the blue is the best kind of money. :)
eta: I'd guess it's the fire photo - it's fantastic.

Gotta be the fireman. And it might very well be for use in a book, possibly a textbook.

When I checked in via their Flickr page, I saw there were requests from them for me to put up a few other photos for sale. However, most of them show faces and I have no way of contacting them for model releases.

| VERY cool. I have at least a dozen with them and they keep requesting more, but I've never sold a single one. |
