I know a lot of people here use PBase which I'm sure is great.

I came across this site - Albumsnaps. You get 150Mb but it's free so effectively you can have as
much space as you want.

It is ad supported but only in the form of a few text only ads (like google) running down the side.

I don't think they have a hotmail-style time limit either.

Does anyone else use it? Seems too good to be true

Edited for wrong url

The problem with free things is that you usually get what you paid for. Not that there is anything wrong with free things! You also tend to find that websites that offer a large space for free run into problems fairly early on when their bandwith or server size is at a limit. I've tried a few in the past and after a few months have either become very very slow due to the very many much people who take advantage of the free space or have just removed all the photos and closed down with no warning (because it's free they can do whatever they want). I'm not saying this website will do that, but those are always good things to know about.

As an aside, pbase has just upp'd their storage space to 200mb for 23 dollars a year, high search ratings on google, and a community that do look at and comment on other people's shots. (No, I'm not affilated with pbase, I just like the site!)

Lots of people use 1and1.com too, they at one time offered free space for three years. Don't know current set up.

That was a limited time thing only, I believe the offer expired.

budokan, Link still not working!

Moodville, I believe you are so right about the free stuff, having trouble linking my sites together... or linking from here, its like if they are giving you free space, then you cant share the domain name or they have privacy something....probably even sliding spy ware in on your browser somewhere too.... I cant seem to get rid of Back web lite, and the privacy policy is at cameocast.com....
So beware using free programs to build a template for a site or launching something to upload photos too.

Looks like that's the end of my pics then.
Bugger! I uploaded loads of stuff over my
56k modem.
I'll have to have a look at PBase
