The membership fee does not entitle anyone to break site rules or disrespect other members (which are pretty much the only ways you can lose service), and policy is clearly stated in the Member Service Agreement: "In the event of termination of this Agreement or suspension of your membership, the Subscription Fee shall not be refunded." In this case, the membership was donated anyway.

Last I checked her membership also expired!

Which begs the question why is there input validation requiring a search term on the photo search page?
Putting a username should suffice.

That's true! I withdraw my objection. :-)

Why is there a disqualification of the sister - Alley Cat - when it appears, from the disqualification post, that only xXxscarletxXx was the violator.

But what if she builds a rocket ship, takes it to Mars, re routes her IP address through an intergalactic wormhole, then redirects everything through a myspace page and signs up using a AMEX Black card, but then posts a picture that was a picture originally taken by Michaelangelo using a camera he made out of seashells from Seatlle, and then edits it to look like Michael Jackson using the Pope as a surfboard. What if she does that?! Can we track her!?

And now in other news...WE LANDED ON THE MOON.

How did Scarlet get the password to the account? From her sister.

Theft, whether a password or money, is still theft. this sounds like punishing the bank for having money for the robber to steal. The answer to my question still has not been answered. are we punishing the innocent just because someone in the family is guilty?????

I don't think you understand. The sister was NOT using the account - Amy WAS using the account - so the account got closed. Sister isn't being punished because she wasn't participating anyway.

If you were banned, and were being sneaky, if voting, would you vote honestly, or would you be an ass?

I CALL FOR ALL VOTES TO BE RECOUNTED FOR EVERY CHALLENGE EVER!

1 VOTE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!!!

The earlier posts do not make this clear. Only that both xXxscarletxXx and Alley Cat were banned. So... Then... according to THIS post....do I assume that only the account was closed, that xXxscarletxXx is the only person banned, and that her sister Alley Cat is not banned?
07/25/2007 11:15:44 AM · #140
You keep it up D, and youll be banned too. Dammit (SARCASM)

The usernames were banned, apparently they were both being used by the same person, even though they were allegedly started by different people. Im assuming its against the TOS to provide your password to someone else, therefore one is as guilty as the other.

Maybe, but we'd have to modify the main deflector dish to emit a tachyon pulse of some kind...

I think you can assume any attempts to create a new account from that IP address will be locked down. That's just the way it goes. Too bad for mom, dad, sister, brother, boyfriend,, and/or dog, cat, gerbil, or cockatoo, but that's the way it goes. Our actions have ramifications for those close to us. Always have, always will.

God I hope we have enough juice left in the flux capacitor to prohibit her from using the space magnet to rearrange the heavens which will make Scalvert win 3 ribbons in 2 days....MY GOD SHES ALREADY DOING IT.

Please read my earlier reply to fotomann_forever for an explanation of this. If that leaves any questions unanswered, please feel free to post them.

The Alley Cat account was essentially dormant for several months, right up until Amy's suspension, the suddenly became very active. A staggering amount of this activity was at times when Alexandria was, or should have been, at school. All available evidence suggests that this account was used entirely by Amy, at least from the suspension date forward. There is some question as to whether it was ever controlled by anyone but Amy. In any case, it appears that Alexandria has no interest in the account.

i'm not going to join in with my opinions over the past few months of amy for it would take quite a few pages and hours of writing, but i would love to say i really appreciate the SC here. they are extremely helpful, and they really go beyond the call of duty on everything.

bravo SC :D

But when are the placing for the three challenges going to be fixed?
07/25/2007 04:34:13 PM · #149
Just wanted to voice my admiration for the site-moderators who were aware of the situation, and that we ALL appreciate the fact that you are looking out for these kinds of violations. It's nice knowing that our photos have watchful eyes!

Thank you very much.

Even the pet dog?? surely that's going too far - couldn't they have some form of Paw print identification to prove it was him ?? Or a drool analyser ? come on guy's (and girls obviously) there must be something we can do to help the household pets. . .

Oh and good work by the SC :- )
