I say we do most of our communication via e-mail and we could talk in the forums about photos we are not entering in challenges and would just like feedback on from our team mates (kind of a self-improvement thing). Just my 2 cents though :D

I have some new ones that I am curious about myself... eventually I will quit asking but right now I need a practiced eye to tell me if I am moving in the right direction or not...

Personally, the actual method of communication doesn't matter. I think email is the most assured way to make sure everybody gets a message, so there needs to be some of that. If Barry needs to say "Hey, guys, we only have 2 pics ready for entry - y'all wake up!" THAT needs to be an email.

HOWEVER, let's be smart. MOST of our general discussion should probably be public just in case of the accusations that run rampant in WPL3 showing up again. Some of you may not be aware of that; there was a team caught cheating amongst themselves. LET'S MAKE SURE WE'RE NOT ACCUSED OR GUILTY OF THAT. In other words, we can't share much information at all about our shots - including outtakes that we didn't enter - until AFTER the voting on that challenge. All we really need to be discussing is whether we're entering. It's okay to ask questions about techniques of each other, but we gotta remember - we can't give away our shots.

And if you recognize a teammates shot during voting - DO NOT VOTE ON IT!!!

Thus, I vote for mostly forum based discussion, with emails at critical points and for general "wakeup calls" when necessary. That way we've got accountability and a pretty good "paper trail."

That is also why I suggested a post where we could talk about what we didn't enter... I suppose that we need to do the critiques for one another in a post after the challenge as well...

And, I agree about the not voting on your teammates photos if you recognize them... but I don't know any of you well enough to recognize your style LOL

That's not a problem. In fact, it's almost a requirement to make sure we meet the team minimums for participation in WPL.

Man am I pumped to do this. I'm hoping for some kind of portrait challenge for the first one... I just got my third Alien Bee and the boom stand from Santa, so I am ready to put it all together and take some implied nudie pictures of my wife... a sure fire way to get a 6+... KIDDING.... unless we really need the points... ;)

I am in for 2 new ones right now that don't start till tonight at midnight and tomorrow at midnight... edit to add: I have just found out you can only enter one challenge at a time that begin on a single day :( bummer... Starts to count around Jan 27... so... Yayyyy I have some time to warm up!! :D Still would like to hear some opinions on which one to run away from that starts Tues...

Ummm. 6+ scores are a good thing, yessirree! :D

Logo - no, we do not have one and y'all can come up with one. Go for it! Team name is 'Free Agents'

Hope you and your family had fun downtown Todd. Our littlest one (4 yrs old) was a bit fussy and I only managed to get a couple of shots worth posting (all handheld at 1600 ISO).

Thanks. :D I love the anti-shake on KM. The shutter speed on these were around 1/15 handheld.
