I captured (by camera) this youngster today. I kind of suck in identification of North American birds so I would be grateful if somebody could help me out in that.

Actually I have the whole bird without the crop

Looks like a baby robin.

This is probable a Redwing

Definitely a juvenile robin, aka turdus migratorius. Can't tell you the subspecies though, sorry! ;)
