I think i would have given it a 6. It is definitely an interesting image but I feel that the cemetary part being out of focus hurts the image.

On my monitor the headstones are quite visible...I'm wondering if I have my monitor set to light?

I see the cross headstones [one big one on the right] and a cluster of what looks like 3 or 4 on the left. I see them with no problem. Even in the thumbnail and I know I have had may monitor calibrated. I just hope correctly.

Ok thanks...I adjusted mine this afternoon and thought maybe I had them set to bright, but I went according to the scale on the bottom of the voting pages, so I think it is about right.

any comments? I don't mean to beg lol, but this was my first attempt at a long shutter exposure and wonder what others think. Thanks :-)

I like the photo, its mysterious_if thats what your intent was. Even on long timed exposures you can put a little light on items that you want for a little kick. If you planned well to do this you can be quite creative with candles or a flash using a long sinc and placing it stategically to light just what you want to highlight. I calibrate my monitor with photoshop and match to prints since I don't have high tech equipment to do this. Usually using an srgb setting for photoshop will set you up pretty good.

The concept is fine, the main problem I see is focus.

Left you a comment.

I think it might be a bit more "mysterious" if the moonlight weren't that salmon color -- something in the cream/pale yellow range might be more appropriate. It looks like a smoggy sunset to me. I'd have voted this a 4.

The picture has been badly over-compressed. This probably accounts for some of the criticisms you have received. Perhaps if you post a less compressed version, people would like it better.
