was out in the garden yesturday taking what I thought would be awesome shots for the October Free challenge........till I really looked at them on the monitor! More of a yuck ewwww gross! than a wow......LOL am off now to throw some soapy water over the roses.

I think a few cigarette butts soaked in a pint of water and then used to make your soapy spray will inactivate their nervous systems even more effectively.

Nice aphids. We have a yellow variety around here... I actually thought they were kinda cute. At least interesting enough for me to have looked them up. Unfortunately i didn't have a macro lens tele enough to take a good picture:
