I REALLY AND TRULY would have done a person. Promise! But I was pretty much alone that entire week. Plus, Tycho is soooo photogenic. I just don't understand people who don't think that animals have very distinct, expressive personalities :).
So HERE were my contenders for the challenge.
And HERE are some more pictures of the kittens taken over their so-far short little lives. The white one is the one that became my little model.
Thanks for letting me share! :)

I love the picture! I will go and check out the rest when I get a few extra minutes and I'm sure I'll enjoy them. Animals are GREAT subjects. So much personality.

I think these pictures of your kittens are absolutely adorable! You really seem to have captured their personalities in these shots! |

You have a great hand for capturing animals!
The B&W-series is awesome!
From the other series I like supa_chomp1_lo.jpg, "max basket" and "what's up there ????" most.

LOL @ Yawn of Ages!!!
As much as I wish you'd submitted one of the others I'm certain you picked the right one for the challenge. Well done.
As for the other shots, I was going to list a few favourites but there's too many great shots in there.
Thanks for sharing : )

I will have to go on record here and say I don't like cats that much (I'm more of a dog person) and it strikes me that a cat wins a potrait challenge... but a good photo is a good photo and this one is.
now the one with the cat yawning, that's great! try it again for humor, i garantee a ribon. it will have the winning formula for DPC: a good shot-that meets the challenge-and with a cat!!! what else do u want?
lol
