Hello there

I am a UK student travelling to America over the summer to work as a camp leader. While I am there I will be working in New Hampshire, whilst my friend will be near New Jersey, and then we'll both be travelling up the West Coast together.

There's an opportunity to get a travelling bursary from the university, and me being a Photography student I thought we could apply for it and do a joint project (she studies 3D design). Thing is we need to write a project overview and I cannot think of what to write as I normally just love taking pictures of nice things! I would love some starting points of ideas so I can start deciding what I'll be wanting to photograph while I am out there.

My friend would like to look at how textures change at different places on our travels but I really dont know how to translate this to photography.

Any ideas would be brilliant, or artists who might inspire us.

Many thanks

Helen
