I just got back home from NYC and we had a great time. Too bad I couldn't meet up anyone from here. The rain was a drag, but we stayed overnight on Monday night so I took a lot of pictures then.

The most memorable part of the trip for me, was my 1st visit to B&H Photo. That is now officially my most favorite of all stores in the world. The amount of equipment is amazing, and actually getting to see it makes all the difference in the world.

I wasn't prepared to drop a lot of money there, but I did buy some really cool things. I picked up a 2nd SB-600 and a convertible umbrella for my studio. I am going to play around with them as introductory strobes.

My family loves to go into the city, so there will be other times and maybe try for another GTG.

I live near Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in PA, so if anyone wants to try a GTG here, I am game.

I just got up from a nap and it's pouring in Queens. Tomorrow I have a funeral to go to (friends father), but I did plan on heading to the city Saturday if anyone wants to join me.

I'd still like to give it a try but this is MrEd's party and it sounds like he's out...not sure.

It's not raining at the moment and actually feels dry so who's to say what's going to happen later on?

Sorry for any delay in posting. But, I'm at my parents house with dialup and can't tie up the phone line for to long. I still plan on going. I just got off the phone with Tony (apaul), he's driving in tonight and has plans for tomorrow morning. We'll just play it by ear and see how he weather is. Their calling for rain all day. Anyway, I'll be back on later tonight for any updates.

I don't have an agenda in mind. Though heading to the West Side then downtown along the water might be a thought or down 5th Ave to E. 8th St. then east towards the Village.
