I'm writing a new tutorial, "101 Polite Ways to Say 'Your Picture Stinks'"
So far I've only gotten to # 57.

Just my way of doing things but if I give a score that is 3 or lower, I leave a comment. Same with any 8's, 9's or 10's. It is hard and some of IMHOs might not be well received (but I don't vote as a BAGHEAD!) but I don't think giving random 1's 2's and 3's without a comment is being constuctive....rather it's being chicken-s@#t.

Its very common. Very few people like to comment on photos they score low.

every comment is very positive, i think i would rather have comments from the low voters so i know what i did wrong, but it's always good to hear that someone likes a shot i guess. I'm kinda bummed, i thought this picture would do better.
