I received several comments on my DOF entry about changing the angle of my shot.
I have to agree,it does improve the shot but how do people feel about changing the true picture just to make it look more aesthetically pleasing?

This is art, not journalism. If leveling the horizon improves your shot, go for it.

personally I think people get to hung up on rules
rule thirds, horizon lines have to horizontal.
I say bah humbug, don't be affraid to make horizon lines diagonal and
compose dead center,..., when appropriate!
That being said, people here will probably knock you for it, like
I said people are hung up on rules. Just my opinion! |
