it's not really my best, but it's one that i like. and it's not really desat'd i guess, since i ended up colorizing the greyscale part.

This is my first half-hearted try at desaturation. I admit to not really enjoy the effect for my purposes, although, to my surprise, I see that some of you have made excellent use of it (below).

the selective is subtle, but applied over the entire image equally.

it has a special place in my heart because it wasn't easy to get, and it didn't take all that much to desat since everything BUT the guy was really mostly grey, black and white.

One of my rejects from the current challenge (and no, the dragonfly was not colorized or enhanced). My actual entry is scoring well below my average. :-(

I had to clone and "paint" with the smudge tool about 50% of the girl's chin and neck because it was obscured by stray hair from the girl on the left.

my turn..... i know its boring now, my first ever attempt.

as you can see i wasnt very adventurous, or tidy.
