You hear it all the time. "Practice. You'll get better." Sometimes that can be hard to believe. I spent my youth avoiding sports and flitting like a dilettante from one avenue of artistic expression to another, mastering none.

But these last two years (years well after the glory days of my DPC ribbons) have convinced me that the call to practice is quite correct. I got better! I practiced HARD on many aspects of my work, and it's paying off. I'm feeling pretty awesome about myself, lately. :)

So here's some words of encouragement for everyone, from the fresh amateur to the seasoned pro:

Practice. You'll get better.
