Going through some old BW prints I did when I was in my teens, I came across this old photo. Thought it would make a cool print. Not really fond of cat photos, but I thought this one was subtle enough.
Taken using my Canon AE-1 and 50mm 1.8, printed in my high school dark room and scanned using a pretty crappy scanner. Very slight levels, crop, and white border in PS7. I think it turned out OK.
Comments are always welcomed...

This is really cool! I love how we can just barely discern the cat there behind the curtains. I'd burn a bit more of it so it does in fact look more like a cat--but not too much. It's just that it's currently almost headless.

I love this and I definitely think it would make a good print. I really like the texture in the curtain and the overall composition. It has a really dreamy mood and even a bit of drama. Really excellent. |

mariomel, this is a wonderful photograph. it has a victorian feeling to it, and is more mood than anything...this is very difficult to capture. well done! |
