... has anyone ever seen flare like this?
I hadn't really planned on entering the 'Out of the Ordinary' challenge, but when I was looking thru some recently captured photos I ran across this. Never have seen anything like it.
There was strong late day sun coming thru the window in the back right. Shot with a 50/1.4 lens @ f2.
Any ideas on what caused the concentric rings? There's nothing in that back window. Some shades, but they were pulled all the way up. ???
BTW - I really did just toss this in without any concern for the score so while all comments are welcome I'm really wondering about the bizarre flare. Thanks. :-) |

Is this the full frame? if not, is the light source in the frame? If it is I could see that happening. |

It was slightly cropped. Here's the original, resized to 800.
It's almost like a "nested" flare or something. |
