Career change for me today.
I am going on a leave of absence from the prison for a year to be a full time Army recruiter.
The best part is I can buy back that year of time when I return and it will get tacked on as retirement time. AND my time towards retirement continues while I am gone. Double dipping. |

I've been in the Recruiting and Retention command for about 3 years now. But as M-day status (one weekend a month) I am switching over to ADOS (Full time orders).
This isn't my first time at the rodeo... |

LOL - I heard this all the time when I was in the Navy. "My recruiter promised me permanent shore duty in a condo in Hawaii!"
If it ain't in writing, it's not a promise. ;-) Of course with the military, it could be in writing and still not be a promise. |
