I needed to post something besides birds for a change! While out shooting for the Bird / Nature Photography thread the other day I also took a few shots of the tulips blooming with my 80-400 lens. I normally shoot these with a wide angle but that is the only lens I had with me. Skagit County has a tulip festival every year in April and this year it is a World gathering. I believe we are the largest growers in the US for bulbs and cut flowers.

I need to try and get out this week with my wide angle and my macro to really do some tulip shooting. It has been awhile. Love both the shots posted.
