Has anybody tryed the Sigma - 28-105mm F2.8-4 Aspherical lens? Is it any good.

28mm for Canon is 45 mm Lens.That is not wide at all.
If you try to take Architectural photo of a taller builing or wide landscape shot you will have problem...
For Canon Digital cameras 16-20 mm for start would be good wide lens.
Sigma 28-105 is very good sharp lens for the money though..

I want it for a f2.8 general purpose tele lens. If I shoot a building from close enough to need 15mm, it's gotta be a TS-E anyways, right? You'd get severe distortion and converging verticals otherwise, no?
