...this photo should be.

This photo is a scanned picture from the 1960's. The photo is on Polaroid type film. As you can see it has been folded on the left and right causing creases and cracks. I'm currently restoring the photo in my spare time and all those cracks are driving me crazy. When complete it will be sized to an 8x10. Unfortunately even with the cropping of the left and right side I still have to deal with the folds and cracks.

In you opinion what level of restoration would you consider this photograph.
Keep in mind that the restoration needs to be done so to produce a quality 8x10 print.

Level 1: Minor Photo Restoration
Level 2: Medium Photo Restoration
Level 3: Major Photo Restoration
Level 4: Extreme Photo Restoration

Thanks in advance for you input.

If you have the ability to use this as a advertisement for your Photo restoration business. 4 extreme, this could show you head and shoulders above others professing such skills..

Although I don't do this often, I did one for a co-worker a few years ago.

What he had (the only picture of him as a child)

After restoration.

My example and the time it took me to restore it I would say that it is 'Major' restoration. You are lucky that the folds are not across the people, that will make it much easier.

I only used PS Elements.

I agree with it being about a level 2.
