How do you get ultrawide on a 1D markiii/iv? That would be close to a 10-22mm on an APS-C sensor or a 16/35mm on a full?

The 16-35 is the obvious choice (or a 17-40 and you prefer to buy a car :-/ then the 16-35) but if your after really wide.... I believe one of the Sigma lenses is FF compatible in the 10/11 range.... I think I saw a recent Tamron one as well but could be wrong. Seems to be the main issue with the 1.3 crops..... There are a few fishes that are VERY wide but assume your after rectilinear.

The Sigma 12-24 works on FF... and quite nicely.

I use my Sigma 12-24 on both my 1D mkII and my 5D mkII. It's nothing short of amazing.

I may get a used 1d markii, but I was thinking about the loss of the ultrawide for landscape. Still have'nt committed, but good to learn about that sigma option.
