I am a wildlife photographer who would like some honest feedback. Here is one example of my work. I would appreciate any comments!

You are so lucky to have access to subjects like this! I think it's an excellent photo, well cropped. The only thing that detracts is the darkness on the face. [/url] |

I agree with mandyp...a fill flash would do wonders. If you're shooting at a distance, a flash extender is invaluable |

Thank you both very much! What you wrote was very helpful. I have been looking at getting a filler flash for my camera but haven't made any solid decisions. I shall go shopping tomorrow. Thanks again! |

I left my comments on the shot, but I liked the shadows on the face, really added to the shot for me!

With an image like that you don't really need to state that you're a wildlife photographer; The image speaks for itself. I think it's a touch dark as mentioned before, but there's no doubt you captured a great moment.
I'll look forward to seeing more! |

very cute picture! the only thing i'd recommend is you give a try to the shadow/highlight tool in photoshop, to maybe bring out a little bit of the detail in the dark areas. otherwise, it's an EXCELLENT shot. great work!

It's a beautiful capture of a fierce creature in a playful mood. I agree that it is a bit dark. The eyes don't have the power they should. I think you could fix that by dodging the highlights in the irises a tiny bit so they glow a bit more. Then the darkness might actually work in contrast. It's hard to complain much about this wonderful shot. Lucky you to have such a great subject.
