This just makes my knees weak looking at it.

You would not be able to pay me enough to go on this. WOW!

People say I am an idiot, but I am not stupid enough to go on anything more than three feet off the ground. The worrying thing about the clip is the person filming it sounds more manic than those on the ride!!

I am not really sure if the people on the ride are having a good time or if they are frozen to their seat.

I sure hope they offer clean underwear in their gift shop.

One little tiny mechanical mistake and your all dead, I would pass on this on the day I was scheduled to die.

I guess i'm not getting the point of the ride. It doesn't look particularly scary to me, but doesn't look like it would be fun, either.

Meh. It's securely anchored. Sure would be a hoot, but I'm certain the view from the front seat would be a little frightening!
What I find interesting is that a very large fraction of the folks who who would never get on this ride will willingly stuff themselves along with their entire family into a metal tube and launch themselves into the stratosphere at 550 miles per hour. And sleep during the ride! ;-)

On our first trip to Vegas, my wife and I stayed at the Stratosphere and went to the observation deck. I have never had a problem with heights but for some reason just the observation deck scared me. My wife said something about going on one of the rides but I wouldn't...about that time something came down from above us and fell on the lower decking, I think maybe it was a PS but didn't stay around long enough to look. I'm sure it's quite safe though, just remember not to have anything hanging loose...
