I really need help editing this. I have no idea what to do this time. usually once i start editing, i know where to go, but this one, like i've been saying, i have no idea....
HELP PLEASE!!!

Ninety percent of my adjustments involve using Curves in Photoshop, often with radical moves in various color channels.
The bold outlines of the subject would make this an easy one to mask and selectively desaturate or otherwise color the background separately; also you could blur it more or apply another interesting filter.
I have to go out soon, but I'll try to post a quick example of how I'd do it when I get back. You might want to post this in the Post-Processing Side Challenge thread if you want several people to have a go at it. |

Here's a really low-level version involving selection of the plants, creating a new layer with the selection active (so only the selection is on it) then running the adjustments on that layer only; curves, color, etc. So the BG is basically the same, but the plants are better. Then selectively erase at a low opacity some of the work on the leaves where they got too bright. If that makes any sense?

I didn't like the composition so I rotated it a little and cloned out one of the leaves. I also, adjusted the tones a little and gave it a slight glow to soften the details.
ETA: I started out with Bear's version not the original version.
