Not anymore. People expend their resources blaming someone else rather than finding and working toward a solution. As long as it's conservative vs. liberal, poor vs. rich, men vs. women, black vs. white, etc.etc.etc.. things will remain the same.

they cant remain the same forever. consider this time in history like when the titanic 1st saw the iceburg. the ship is about to hit and sink but the passengers are just drinking scotch and smoking cigars, oblivious.

Government abuse of tax dollars is attrocious. Besides all the acounting mistakes and $1000 toilet seats, we blow money on stupid groups, hobbies, artsy crap, the already failed welfair system and so on and so forth.

It will honestly take a REAL conservative (or at least someone who is fiscally conservative) to really crack down on this. Unfortunetly with the special interest groups (NO NOT BIG OIL OR CORPORATIONS) it gets worse and worse every year.

I feel like we have it bad in America, but the European governments must blow money like it's going out of style. Shit they take just about all your money in taxes so you can suuport your HUGE welfare populations and related programs that do nothing but breed more welfare rats! And in the end you don't have a whole lot to show for it!

It can stay this way for a considerable amount of time, perhaps a few more decades. The decline is gradual and goes mostly unnoticed.

In contrast when I was kid ( about the time they confined dinosaurs to zoos ), an average man working forty hours could buy a home, provide food, clothing, transportation and a decent education for his children.
Shops were closed on Sundays, and no one worked on holidays. Today it is common to see both parents working over fifty hours a week, and their combined wages don't compare with the buying power a single worker had forty years back.
