A few weeks ago I was contacted by a company who needed a digital photographer in Atlanta to take photos of one of their clients in ATL to use on their website. The company rep came to DPC and searched for ATL photographers, found my name at the top of the list, looked at my portfolio and asked me to photograph their client. It's funny, since I don't think I have a single portrait in my portfolio.... anyway, I sent the rep to my website to see some of my portraits, set up a time to shoot their client, did it, the company paid me, and they loved the photos I took!! I got my first "professional" photo gig thanks to DPC!! Now if only I could sell some of my prints I'd be in heaven ;)
