You have a very nice and colorful bird shot there.
It reminded me of some I got a few days ago
near my house - but not everybody has an ocean within the city limits.

| Probably 50 per cent of my bird shots are taken within walking distance from my house. The little birds, finches, tits and the like are every where, I just follow the noise, and I am lucky enough to have a small lake just round the corner. As birds are what I most like to photograph I spend ages up there. The Kingfisher is my next challenge, fast and elusive but I have seen him twice in the last 10 days so I am feeling encouraged. From my backyard (well, close, the neighbors frontyard to be exact).
I'm so lucky to live where I do. Not urban but not rural either. I live right downtown in a town of about 18,000 or so. |
