I shall endeavour to survive..... :-)

Well, to be fair, I gave up on it fairly early in--after they found a way to acheive warp 9.9 instead of 9.0 to get home faster, but abandoned it cuz only warp 10 would do (it is a logarithmic scale, so warp 9.9 was a damn sight faster), and after they at some great trouble and sacrifice, obtained a "library" of the entire quadrant's details (maps, resources, civilizations) in one episode and then failed to ever reference it again. So it might have gotten better, but with Berman and Braga at the helm of the show, there was every reason to suspect otherwise.

Tut. None of that imperialistic and sappy moralistic nonsense for me. Everyone knows all the cool rebels watch Blake's 7.

Yeah, enormous plot holes and excruciating torsions of continuity never really happened in any of the other series. ;-)

lots fewer of them in TNG, and lots more character development over the course of the series, including recurring arcs. Voyager in comparison was, for me, a huge letdown.

One is Freudian and one is Jungian.

Hmmmmm...we need to think of a proper punishment...let's see, if Art Roflmao can answer this trivia question correctly, then we will let him off the hook. Otherwise, we will have to banish him to Ceti Alpha V!

Question: In the series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, what was the name of Data's kitty cat?

I never would have guessed it anyway. If I had to guess, my answer would have been "Who's Data?"

I was a fan of Star Trek as a kid. Not a Trekkie, but I liked the show. First generation, that is. I knew it was "Beam me up", but I take license with my ST quotes just to get a reaction from the Trekkies. :P

ps: I do know who Data is. :P

The both cling to their long standing fallacies.
