I know where to get some blood oranges -- they're so red inside even I can tell ... |

see, option (b) is so very tempting. :-)
I thought of getting out the color wheel, shooting something the precise opposite of orange, using a bright orange border, and a title "Orange ya glad it ain't a DNMC?" |

LOL!! And here I was bemoaning the fact that nothing rhymes with orange...
But seriously, the challenge is asking for the color orange this time. So my blue orange might not work.

I always thought "carnage" as a close enough rhyme with "orange"; especially a BLOOD orange, jejejeâ¢

You can rhyme it pretty closely in French, as in this restaurant revue ...
A delightful melange

I'm not entirely sure I know who or what 7 of 9 is. Does it have anything at all to do with Orange? |

Nah. 7 of 9 was a Borg in Star Wars, a cybernetic organism, a cyborg, good looking woman to all appearances, but there were some issues... :-)

So Borgs apparently have a lot of collagen and silicone, yes? And three of the four letters for Borg are in Orange... just sayin'.... |

Oh, and I was a Star Trek (no words following) fan. Never did catch on to the "Star Trek colon something follows" bit. Though I will admit that Star Trek movie my sister sent me for Christmas was suprisingly good. |

Yes, but I don't think even a large Naval will suffice... |

in Star TREK, the "Voyager" series, which, except for Jeri Ryan, was an utterly forgettable series
(just didn't want you to get tackled by Uniformed Trekkies when you next venture out.... :-) |

It's true the story wasn't as good as DS9, but Voyager had the bigger budget.

Speaking of Netflix (since the tar is still warming and another pillow needs to be sacrificed soon for feathers) my mother just made me order the first disk of the Forever Knight series. So guess what is in my future for the next several weeks.... |

The High Council* meets to determine if we must all cross our arm across our chests, spin on our heels turning our backs toward you, in formal Discommendation.
*even higher authority than the Site Council.
seriously, though, one of my favorite "Star Trek" moments actually occurred in Frasier: a pissed-off trekkie coworker taught Frasier the words for his son's bar mitzvah in Klingon instead of Hebrew!! |
