| I have been such a lurker, but wanted to drop in and say I'm going to New Orleans on Monday and will be there for a week. If anybody lives there and would like to hook up let me know, and if favorite spots let me know. |

Thanks for the support, but things aren't any better right now from a nervous point of view :). This morning a little below my PB (after 147 votes) and now a little above again (after 153 votes). Should I hate or love the update button with 3 more days to go? |

Thank you! Thank you! Looks like just having fun with making photos is sometimes good for a ribbon :) And I'm very happy with my first 7.
But now it's time to get back to the preparation of my ribbon winner meal :) Pork tenderloin "en croûte". Hope the purée of mushrooms taste better than it looks. |

| Back to earth (looking at my current scores, low 5), but I just made a print of my batteries (a cleaned version), still can't believe I got a blue with that, but also still very happy. Got the validation confirmation today :). Going to use it for a FS at my photo club. Just wondering how it will score in a completely different environment. |

Well, I sent my ribbon winner to two microstock agencies that I deal with. Accepted at one, rejected at the other. LOL! |

Hello everyone. Long time since I've ventured back to DPC for anything other than a FS or to post my MUAIMHO... but I'm back, with photos in TWO of the upcoming challenges... and that doesn't include the FS. That's right TWO... sure they're likely to get hammered in voting given the challenge subjects and editing rules, but hey... at least I got out last night at took some photos of something other than my children... and it felt REAL GOOD.
Just felt I had to share with my fellow team suck members. I've missed this place, and you guys... hope to be around a bit more. |

| I'm glad you were able to get out -- it was raining pretty steadily here last night, and local moonrise tonight is four minutes after the submission deadline. :-( |

I went out to take photos... only checked DPC back at home and noticed that there were two challenges I could submit photos for from what I'd taken. I figured if nothing else, I'd get a FS photo out of the excursion... pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to wait until the end of the month. :)
Not expecting much from either of them... score wise... just happy to be here submitting photos. :) |
